Centar za certificiranje halal kvalitete podržao završnu svečanost mektepske nastave u Zagrebačkoj džamiji

On Sunday, 1 June 2025, the acting head of the Centre for Halal Quality Certification, Mr Muhamed Mandžić, participated in the closing ceremony of mektep (Islamic elementary religious education) classes held in Zagreb.

The event brought together a large number of children, parents, and muallims (Islamic teachers), with a particularly emotional moment being the final performance by eighth-grade students who recited the hatma (complete reading of the Quran), thereby symbolically concluding their mektep education.

The Centre proudly contributed to this event by donating gift packages for the children and providing promotional halal materials. In this way, in addition to supporting the religious and educational segment, the importance of the halal standard and its role in everyday life was further highlighted.

Halal is more than a label; it is a system of values that includes responsibility, quality, and trust.

Through support for such projects, the Centre seeks to develop awareness of the importance of the halal way of life from an early age and contribute to strengthening the healthy foundations of the community.

The Centre for Halal Quality Certification will continue in the future to support activities that combine education, faith, and halal values as a guarantee of a safer and more conscious future.
