Centre for Halal Quality Certification Renews MUIS Recognition

The Centre for Halal Quality Certification informs its partners and halal certificate holders that it has successfully renewed its status as an authorized foreign halal certification body (Foreign Halal Certification Body – FHCB) with Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS), for a period of three years.

The accreditation renewal process involved extensive preparation and submission of documentation, as well as verification of compliance with current MUIS requirements and criteria. Following the verification, the Centre continues to operate as a recognized halal certification body, thereby ensuring the continuity of recognition of halal certificates in the Singaporean market.

In the meantime, MUIS has introduced an upgraded and digitalized FHCB system that enables electronic application submission, real-time status tracking, and more efficient communication and evaluation. This system further contributes to the transparency, standardization and reliability of the halal certification process.

The renewal of MUIS accreditation, along with the existing EIAC accreditation (Emirates International Accreditation Centre), confirms that the Centre for Halal Quality Certification operates in accordance with relevant international standards and continues to provide support to manufacturers and exporters in meeting the requirements of the halal market.

We thank all partners and clients for the trust placed in us and continue with responsible and professional work on the development and improvement of the halal quality system.
