Conference on the Valorisation of Cultural-Historical and Sacred Heritage in Tourism – Rijeka 2026

We are announcing a conference dedicated to the valorisation of cultural-historical and sacred heritage in tourism, which will take place on 9 and 10 April 2026 at the Islamic Centre in Rijeka.

The conference brings together relevant experts and stakeholders from the fields of tourism, culture and sustainable development with the aim of exchanging knowledge, encouraging cooperation and developing innovative approaches to heritage interpretation and management.

We particularly highlight the participation of the Manager of the Centre for Halal Quality Certification, Mr. Muhamed Mandžić, who will, through his presentation, illustrate the importance of halal standards in tourism and gastronomy and their growing influence on the international market.

The conference is organised by LUX Promocija in collaboration with partners from the fields of tourism, education and cultural heritage, with the support of the City of Rijeka and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, as well as relevant institutions and the academic community.
