Cooperation Agreement Signed with the International Halal Institute
An Agreement on Cooperation was signed at the Iranian Economic Chamber between the International Halal Institute, operating under the Iranian Economic Chamber, and the Halal Quality Certification Centre.
The agreement was signed by Assistant Professor Dr. Aldin Dugonjić, head of the Centre and director of the Halal Business Forum, and Dr. Mohammad Reza Karbasi, Deputy Director of the Chamber for International Relations and Director of the International Halal Institute.
Dr. Dugonjić expressed his satisfaction with the visit to the Iranian Economic Chamber and the International Halal Institute, as well as with the signed agreement, which, among other things, opens up opportunities for the exchange of information, scientific and expert research, and the strengthening of economic and tourism cooperation with Iran.
Special attention in the future will be devoted to organizing appearances by companies holding halal certificates on the Iranian market, as well as to organizing the Halal Business Forum next year in Zagreb, where the arrival of a high-level delegation and companies from Iran is expected.
On this occasion, Dr. Karbasi stated that this agreement will increase the contribution to cooperation between Croatia and Iran, as well as facilitate the connection of halal industries and the opening of markets.
According to the latest Halal Market Index reports, Iran ranks a high 9th place, with a population of nearly 85 million people.
