Halal Business Forum on October 2 and 3 in Zagreb

Sarajevo Business Forum and Sarajevo Halal Fair represent the most important regional business gatherings, especially when it comes to the halal economy. Thanks to these events, Sarajevo gathers more and more companies, businesspeople, investors, and experts year after year.

Head of the Centre for Halal Quality Certification, Dr. Aldin Dugonjić, emphasizes that the halal standard is a key entry ticket to numerous world markets.

"We are glad that they succeeded once again this year in organizing such an important fair. I believe that the region should have a strong halal fair given the production and tourism potentials we have here. We hope it will grow year after year, and we will certainly continue to contribute both as the Centre for Halal Quality Certification and as the Halal Business Forum. Our goal is to connect companies that produce halal products with those that sell halal products. Likewise, this tourism sector is very important, and thirdly, investments are important. In order to realize the production of these potentials we briefly discussed, we need investments."

He emphasizes that with each passing day, people increasingly recognize the importance of the halal standard, precisely because the halal market is growing ever larger.

"Manufacturers recognize this both for profit and for health safety reasons, so on a daily basis, speaking from experience, we have increasing demand for halal product certification, as well as various questions from users of halal products about where they can find and buy products, how halal products are verified, and so on. I take this opportunity to invite everyone to come to Zagreb on October 2 and 3 for the Halal Business Forum, which will be held at the Westin Hotel, where we will also discuss various topics and issues of the halal market, halal economy, and ultimately halal business."
