Halal Travel & Taste Summit 2026

We are pleased to announce the Halal Travel & Taste Summit 2026, a unique event dedicated to the future of halal tourism and gastronomy.
The Summit will take place on 18 June 2026 in Zagreb, in the prestigious setting of the “H. Salim Šabić” Congress Hall at the Islamic Centre Zagreb.

The event is organised by LUX Promocija in co-organisation with the Centre for Halal Quality Certification, under the theme: “Halal as a Global Tourism Trend”.
This is a professional and business event focused on current trends in tourism and gastronomy, with special emphasis on the development of the halal market as a high value-added segment. The programme includes panel discussions, business networking opportunities and the exchange of experiences, as well as a tasting of carefully selected halal dishes.

The Summit also serves as an introduction to the major international Business Forum, which will be held from 11 to 13 November 2026 in Dubrovnik.
The aim is to present the Republic of Croatia as a destination that, through the halal quality system (standard HRN BAS 1049), offers a clearly defined framework in tourism and hospitality. The global halal market is one of the fastest-growing – by 2030, more than 245 million halal travel passengers are expected, with spending exceeding USD 230 billion.

Participation in the Summit is free of charge, subject to prior registration and confirmation of attendance no later than Monday, 1 June 2026, or until seats are filled.
