International University of Novi Pazar one of the organizers of the 3rd Halal Business Forum in Zagreb
This year's Halal Business Forum in Zagreb featured 6 panels. On the second day, three panel discussions were held on the topics "Circular Economy in Halal and Medical Tourism", "Education in the Halal Industry", and "Halal Product Innovation".
The University of Novi Pazar was once again one of the organizers of the Forum. The Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Suad Bećirović, emphasizes that this continues the University's rise on the international scene, providing a concrete contribution to building a positive educational and business climate in the country and the region.
"This year we focused on sustainability and the development of halal companies, the so-called circular economy, which means we talked about how to best reuse the resources we have used, or how to use existing resources seriously and responsibly. This year we had the opportunity to listen to various panels, and I had the honor of participating in a panel discussing education. It was interesting to listen to colleagues from Croatia about how they implement halal in their schools and how they are thinking about implementing a subject on halal at higher education institutions."
Participants of the Halal Business Forum came from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, the United Kingdom, as well as Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada.
