President of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina | Economy | Industry and International Business Cooperation

Mirsad Jašarspahić, President of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is an experienced businessman and expert with many years of experience in industry, management, and the development of the business sector.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and he began his professional career at the company PD Rudstroj d.d. Kakanj, where he advanced to the position of Executive Director for Commercial and Technical Affairs. From 2008 to 2014, he served as General Director of the Kakanj Brown Coal Mine, and in 2014 he took over the leading position at the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Throughout his professional activity, he has particularly distinguished himself in fostering industrial development, improving the business environment, and connecting businesspeople. He is the recipient of the Manager of the Year award for 2011, as well as a special award for his contribution to the work and development of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2015.

He has made a particular contribution to the development of the halal industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of his significant initiatives was the founding of the Halal Industry Association at the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2015, which brought together more than 50 halal-certified companies with the aim of representing their interests, promoting halal quality, and opening up new markets.

In 2016, he also initiated the founding of the Automotive Industry Group of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, aimed at connecting domestic manufacturers of automotive parts and components, strengthening competitiveness, and facilitating access to international markets.

At the Business Forum 2026, he will share his experiences on industrial development, strengthening economic associations, the internationalization of business, and creating new opportunities for regional and international economic cooperation.
