Poliklinika Glavić has become the first Halal clinic in the southeastern part of Europe.

On 3 April 2023, the halal certificate for Poliklinika Glavić was ceremonially presented.

At the certificate handover, Assoc. Prof. Dr. sc. Aldin Dugonjić, Head of the Centre for Halal Quality Certification, said: “It is our pleasure that Poliklinika Glavić, as a reference centre for robotic rehabilitation, has successfully completed the certification process, given that health tourism has become one of the more recognizable forms of travel in the world, and it is expected that in the future it could become one of the main reasons for travelling. Today, around 14 million people travel worldwide for healthcare. Only the countries of the Arabian Peninsula spend 20 billion US dollars on travel for healthcare purposes, which is certainly one of the main reasons for the need for additional promotion and activities in the halal market.”

In addition to within the borders of Croatia, Poliklinika Glavić is globally recognized as one of the best healthcare institutions for robotic neurorehabilitation.

“Given the strong and constant global relationship with international patients, the Halal standard and certification of the clinic was a logical sequence of procedures for maximum improvement and raising the overall service we provide to a higher level,” emphasizes Ana Vatović, Head of Clinical Operations, adding:
