Predstavnici Centra za certificiranje halal kvalitete iz Zagreba posjetili Agenciju u Tuzli
Tuzla, 21 April 2025 – Today, the Agency for Halal Quality Certification in Tuzla was visited by a delegation from the Centre for Halal Quality Certification in Zagreb. During the working meeting, a range of important topics concerning the strengthening of cooperation between the two institutions in the field of halal certification were discussed.
The meeting was attended by the director of the Agency, Dr Damir Alihodžić, the president of the Agency’s Management Board, Dr Ahmed Hatunić, as well as the acting director of the Centre, Muhamed Mandžić, and the president of the Centre’s Management Board, Mirza Šabić. Also participating in the meeting were Agency staff members Valdet Pestalić and Dr Mirsad Arnautalić.
The participants examined possibilities for engaging the Agency’s halal auditors in halal auditing tasks for halal-certified companies from Croatia. They also discussed inter-institutional support in accreditation procedures and a coordinated approach to European Union markets. Special emphasis was placed on digital solutions and the promotion of halal products, such as the Halal Bazar app, in which halal products and companies from Croatia would be included.
Additional cooperation opportunities were also considered, including the exchange of expert and scientific resources, staff training and professional exchanges, as well as joint activities in third countries.
At the end of the meeting, conclusions were adopted and a plan for further activities was defined, including deadlines and responsibilities for the implementation of the agreed points, according to a statement from the Agency for Halal Quality Certification.
