Visit of Mr Bari Ahmedija to the Centre for Halal Quality Certification

At the premises of the Centre for Halal Quality Certification, the acting head, Mr Muhamed Mandžić, received an official visit from a representative of the Turkish national minority of the City of Zagreb, Mr Bari Ahmedija. During the meeting, they discussed possibilities for cooperation, including the promotion of halal standards, connecting Turkish entrepreneurs with halal-certified companies in Croatia, and organising joint cultural and educational activities.

The Turkish national minority in Zagreb is actively working on the preservation and promotion of its cultural heritage, and through this potential cooperation the emphasis is on strengthening economic ties, raising awareness of the importance of halal standards, and further connecting the community with local and international partners.
