CHQC is an Approved Halal Organisation and Inspection Body, its Director and staff will at all times maintain their impartiality and independence so that the outcomes of its inspection and certification activities are not influenced or prejudiced by direct or indirect agenda.
Influences include but are not limited to: Ownership, governance, management, personal interests, shared company resources, finances, conflicting contracts, shared marketing (including brand usage) and payment of sales commissions or other inducements from clients.
CHQC, its Owners and its Director, are not and shall never be, wholly or part there-of, a legal entity involved in the design, manufacture, supply, distribution, installation, maintenance or sale of the items and processes it inspects and certifies.
CHQC, its Owners, its Director and employees shall not be (by: ownership; board appointment; company management, contractual commitment; or other means to have an outcome on an inspection), wholly or part there-of, linked to a legal entity involved in the design, manufacture, supply, distribution, installation, maintenance or sale of the items and processes it inspects and certifies.
CHQC Management Board warrant that any employee or contractor of CHQC shall not engage in the design, manufacture, supply, distribution, installation, maintenance or sale of the items and processes it inspects and certifies.
Halal Impartiality and Independence Committee
As part of our commitment to preserving impartiality, CHQC is accountable to a national Halal Impartiality and Independence Committee made up of CHQC Director plus invited representatives from key stakeholders in the food manufacture and export industry, and Islamic Leaders.
This committee’s responsibility is to ensure CHQC inspection and certification activities are not influenced or prejudiced by direct or indirect agenda and CHQC remains true to the Islamic Faith.
